HOA Governing Documents

Our Homeowner’s Association (HOA) governing documents include (in order of priority):

Restated Declaration of Covenants (effective Sep 28, 2021) and the First Amendment (effective Sep 29, 2022)

Articles of Incorporation (effective Aug 26, 1999)

Restated Bylaws (effective July 20, 2026)

Our HOA is subject to the Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act (CCIOA) enacted on July 1, 1992 which is the primary state law governing the formation, management and operation of common interest communities including HOAs.  Amendments to CCIOA are enacted as bills are passed affecting common interest communities.

Colorado Timber Ridge HOA is also registered as a Colorado Non-Profit Corporation, so is therefore also governed by the Colorado Revised Nonprofit Corporation Act found in Title 7, Articles 121 through 137 of the Colorado Revised Statutes.

CCIOA precedes all of the Timber Ridge HOA documents in terms of priority as does the Nonprofit Corporation Act.
